Any transition serious enough to alter your definition of self will require not just small adjustments in your way of living and thinking but a full-on metamorphosis.

Good afternoon,

Once again, I watched the film earlier today and left moved even more than the first time. I am honored to leave comments like this in hopes someone else may read this message and feel the same - we MUST take action against the destruction of those magnificant animals. If there is anything I can do, feel free to contact me.

Cheers,
Dave

Good evening,

I recently got home from the cinema and want to thank you and commend you for your work. I have been fascinated with sharks since I was in 1st grade - it was at that time when I began to draw them in school and became in awe of the show, The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau. Yes, it has been many years in building my passion for sharks. I have followed a similar path as yours; I have degrees in Biology (BSc) and Aquatic Biology (MSc) and have worked with sharks from S. Africa to the Bahamas. I am also a firm believer in conservation and making a difference trying to educate people the importance of these animals in our world; our ecosystem. I think the movie Sharkwater should be shown in more US theaters and perhaps on Discovery or the National Geographic channel. That way, more people will be able to watch what you have done and the importance of this issue that is affecting our world. In fact, I would be honored to work with you in your quest.

I wish you all the best.
Cheers,
Dave

Rob,

Incredible. I just arrived home from the screening in St. Petersburg. I can't wait to start telling everyone I know about your film and how important it is for them to go see it. I'm very much a water person and I've always been a shark fan. Your film didn't necessarily change my perceptions of sharks, but it did significantly impact my perceptions of their importance in our oceans and the current peril they face. You spent so much time thanking us for being there, but it's TRULY you who deserves all the thanks. More thanks than I can express. Please keep doing what you're doing and know that you are at the forefront of a movement, a movement of overwhelming importance, that will forever leave a profound mark in human history. I wish you all the best of luck. I promise to honor your wish that the word be spread. Starting tomorrow morning. Namasté.
