i got the chance to see Shark Water and i thought that it was a really insperational documentary. i couldnt help but crying near the end. i also want to become a marine bio. watching Shark Water i relised that i loved the water and everything in it . even sharks. now i cant wait till i see another shark! i just hope that there will be sharks left by the time i become a marine bio. thanks for opening my eyes to whats happening Rob

Sharkwater isn’t just a dvd.

It’s the truth of what people would do for money.
It’s a story of the past that is rapidly continuing.
I believe it should be a crime everywhere to do what thoose people did.
On the other hand, there are amazing people like you Rob, who don’t sit there and think about whats happening, you go out and do something about it. Thats what “following your dream” and “making a difference” is about. Sometimes to do it you have to take risks or go against the rules but at the end of the day, you can save lives.
What people say about sharks being “vicious and fierce” is the wrong description. They are powerful and strong but know when to use such power.

I wish I could do more to help but I am only 12 and have a long time to wait.

My dream is also to become a marine Bio. any advice Rob?

Hi Rob.

I didn’t know much about sharks but I knew they were endangered. I can’t believe people would actually do that! Sharks are living creatures! The dvd was amazing but so sad. I loved it!

So many people are terrified of sharks and now I don’t see why. Thanks to the dvd I can see that they don’t want to kill people and can be as friendly as other animals. I’ve always been a dolphin person but now I know sharks are fantastic.

I hope that you read this comment because I was wondering if you could tell me, are you going to make another dvd about sharks again or was that the only one. Have you done others or is it just Sharkwater.

Dear Rob,
I love writing comments so you’ll see alot by me.
It is true that I’ve loved sharks since I was 4. In your little video on the home page you say ” your underwater and you see the thing that you were taught your whole life to fear and it dosn’t wanna hurt you, and it’s the most beautiful thing you have ever see, and your whole world changes.” For if you had said that to me in person i would have replyed ” you were right about three thing’s in that sentence. The wrong thing (for me) was the first thing you said from ‘your underwater’- ‘fear’. you were toatlly right about how there beautiful, don’t wanna hurt you and how if you ever see one your whole world changes. You were wrong when you said the first thing because when i was three (and younger) I thought that sharks were very cool (because the looked very dangerus). On my fourth birthday my aunt got me a book about sharks. I stayed up all night reading the book. Sharks have been my favorite animals for my whole life. I’ve loved sharks since i was probly 1 year old. I’m now 12 and have loved sharks for 11 years now. Since that night whe my aunt bought me that book it has been in the top 5 for my favorite books. I’ve loved that book for 8 years. I do very much apoligize for writing all about me in this comment so i should probly end it for today.

So thanks Rob for making this video for showing people how beautiful sharks are and for showing people the sharks that I know, for showing that they are very kind animals

Oh and there are other things that i would like to say,
I’ve alway’s hated when people would say things like “all sharks should be dead!” and stuff like that. I also hate how if your talking to your friends about things like your favorite animal and you say ” sharks” there like “how can you like an animal that wants to kill you?” I alway’s say “without sharks this world would fall apart!” and most people that you talk to are like “sharks are stupid” or ” sharks only do want to eat us humans!” and “there worthless animals in are lives, they don’t need to be alive!” I really did have to say that, so for all you people that think that sharks are stupid, wrothless, don’t belong on this earth type of sea creatures then you need to grow a brian!

By the way this was writen by a 12 year old girl! =D
